So I've been thinking about diversity lately (Hoo Boy) and how it's used in media
I think that, while we have a long, LONG way to go for representation, ESPECIALLY outside of the US, I do believe that it's getting better. We still have to deal with assholes arguing over the depiction of LGBTQ+ characters in media (as if LGBTQ+ people are inherently naughty things that kids shouldn't know about ugh), censorship in countries outside of the west (Love Simon was never shown here in Malaysia and I'm mad, not to mention the whole Beauty and the Beast incident), and of course, real life hate crimes that I'm not comfortable discussing... but I mean,
